Commercial Agricultural Drones

AP Drones deliver targeted input applications powered by field intelligence. Execute autonomous missions, treat only the areas that need attention, and reduce unnecessary inputs across your operation, regardless of the size.

Key Capabilities

  • Autonomous Mission Planning

Plan and execute autonomous drone missions based on field conditions and crop intelligence. Missions can be designed to target specific zones within a field.

  • Targeted Spraying

Treat only the areas that require intervention, reducing unnecessary input use while protecting crop performance.

  • Rapid Deployment

Deploy drones quickly to respond to crop stress, pest outbreaks, or nutrient deficiencies without waiting for ground equipment availability.

  • Modular Drone System

AP Drones are designed with a modular architecture that allows flexibility for different crop systems, operational needs, and application types.

Training & Support

Training & Operational Support

Adopting drone technology should be simple and reliable. American Prime provides training and operational support to help producers and agricultural service providers deploy AP Drones safely and effectively.

Our support includes:

  • Drone setup and system configuration
  • Flight mission planning and operational guidance
  • Integration with AP Intelligence field insights
  • Basic maintenance and operational best practices
  • Remote technical support

Our goal is to ensure operators can quickly deploy drones and integrate aerial applications into their existing farm operations.

Requirements to Operate

Drone applications in agriculture are regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). AP Drones are designed to operate within these regulatory frameworks. To legally operate agricultural spraying drones in the U.S., operators typically need:

— FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot CertificateRequired for commercial drone operations.

— FAA Agricultural Aircraft Operations Authorization (Part 137)Required for aerial application of agricultural inputs such as pesticides and fertilizers.

— State Pesticide Applicator License

Most states require a pesticide applicator certification for aerial spraying operations. We can provide guidance on these requirements and help operators understand the steps needed to deploy drone-based spraying operations.
